Drink Two: Irish Nutcracker!
Kafka's Coffee and Tea has created a creamy hazelnut coffee, The Irish Nutcracker, using the BLOOM Pour Over Coffee Brewer. Made with hazelnuts, condensed milk, coffee, and Baileys; this drink is sure to warm you up on a cold December morning. Take a look at Aaron Kafka's recipe and instructions below!
- 30g crushed B.C. hazelnuts
- 1.5 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk
- 2 oz baileys (optional)
- 19 g coffee medium ground, freshly roasted, traceable
- 325 g water at 205 degrees Fahrenheit
Begin by warming the milk; then mix in hazelnuts, baileys, and condensed milk. Place in the fridge overnight. Let it steep for 12 hours, and then strain the hazelnuts. Brew coffee using the BLOOM Pour Over brewer into a carafe. Mix 3 parts coffee with 2 parts milk mixture. Drink up!
